Of all the North American ducks, the Ruddy Duck exhibits, in my opinion, the most interesting courtship display.  The male duck slaps its bill against its breast feathers, forcing air into the water and causing bubbles to form. After which it juts its head forward as it vocalizes.  Here's a video of this unusual behavior:
